"Wixarika Territory in the Present and Past - A Conversation with HSF Alumnus Tanima Enríquez and Diana Negrín"
"Tanima Blanca América Enríquez is an intercultural lawyer with a focus on gender rights and is a legislative aid for the State of Jalisco. She is a former HSF scholarship recipient (2020) and received Jalisco's Award for Youth (Premio Estatal a la Juventud) for her social organizing work with women in 2020. She is from the community of Waut+a, San Sebastián Teponahuaxtlán.
Diana Negrín is Associate Director of the Wixarika Research Center and a professor in geography at UC Berkeley. She is also a founding member and President of the Board of AIRE, A.C. (Alianza Intercultural para la Regeneración Ecosistémica), a new sister organization to the Wixárika Research Center in Mexico. She is from Guadalajara and the San Francisco Bay Area.
