The Sacred Snare

The Sacred Snare ~ Juan Ríos Martínez 1974

Tamatsi Kauyumari, Our Elder Brother Fawn of the Sun, is found upon his prayer rug that is similar to a loom on which the Ancestors motifs are woven. On each side, two serpents spit out magic wool. A flowering vine emerges from one of Kauyumari's antlers.
