Man's embroider pants
This example of man's pants, xaweruxi in Wixárika, were made of fine cotton muslin cloth produced by the textile mill in Bella Vista on the outskirts of Tepic, Nayarit. The embroidery was done using the 2 point cross-stitch, sometimes called "punta de oro" and is the finest stitch possible. The embroidery thread used is cotton and aniline dyed.
